What Is Reiki & How Can It Benefit Me?

Reiki is universal life force energy. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese language and is broken into two short syllables: Rei (Ray) meaning universal boundless energy, and Ki, meaning life force. Other languages use the terms Chi or Prana. Therefore, Reiki is the universal life force energy.

Reiki is an ancient healing method that is over 2000 years old. The practice of giving and receiving Reiki stimulates the body's natural healing abilities and promotes a sense of well being. Some people define Reiki as 'the energy of living love' - the same source of every atom in the universe.
